Another new release by Extreme EcoAdventure for those who wants something more cahllenging with a higher difficult level and a lot of waterfalls and fantastics secenarios on the way, the Expert Trek Chapada Diamantina is perfect for those who loves to walk above all.

Expert Trek Chapada Diamantina Summary:

1st day: Fundão & XXI Waterfalls.
2nd day: Fumaça´s Waterfall from a front view, Palmital Waterfall, Capivari´s Waterfall and Poção do Capivari.
3rd day: Mixila´s Waterfall, Lajes Waterfall and Caldeirão´s Waterfall.
4th day: Samuel´s Waterfall and Garapa´s Waterfall.
5th day: Ramalho´s Waterfall

Expert Trek Chapada Diamantina Detailed:
1st day- We leave Lençóis by the Grisante Hill straight to the XXI Streamlet and pass through the Cachoeira do Fundão (Deep Bottom Waterfall) and the Cachoeira do XXI (XXI´s Waterfall). We camp above the last one.

2nd day- We keep going up the river till de Green Streamlet and leave the river in direction to the belvedere of the Cachoeira da Fumaça (Smoke´s Waterfalls), where we stop to enjoy the view. Than we go down to the Cachoeira do Palmital (Palmer Heart´s Waterfall), stay a while and keep going down to cross the Rio Capivara (Capybara River) and the Rio do Capivari. We go up on a trail to see the Cachoeira do Capivari from the Streamlet. Than we go to the Cachoeira do Poção where we camp.

3rd day- We leave the backpackers on the camping and go up the river for around 2 hours to reach the Mixila´s Waterfall. We stay some time to swim and come back to the camping on the same way. Than we walk 1,5 hours to reach the Lages Waterfall and stop for a good bath. And one more hour separates us from the Caldeirão River, where we camp around the Caldeirão Waterfall.

4th day- We walk 1,5 hours to Ancorado River and stop to refresh ourselves. Then more 1,5 hours to the Roncador River, where we visit the top of the Cachoeira do Samuel and swim on the most beautiful pool of Chapada, which has an incredible view form to end of the National Park. After that we walk to Garapa River see it´s waterfall and start going down till the mouth of the Riacho Fundo (Deep Brook) and cross it to camp.

5th day- We leave in the morning and all the way down passing through old diamond mines. And on the way to Andaraí we see the Ramalho´s Waterfall. We stop to lunch and reach the village where the car will be waiting for us.

Obs.: All tours can be changed without notice because of weather conditions or the groups rhythm. This trek must be booked with one month in advance.
