Mosquitos Waterfall and Serra das Paridas Old Paintings
We leave Lençóis in a 1 hour car trip until the car park. We have a grat view from the first stop, and than we walk down a trail to the Mosquitos Waterfall´s top. We stop to see other view and can swim in small pools. Than a 20 minutes steep trail separate us from the Mosquitos Waterfall´s botton. We can go under the water in a nice shower. We stay a while enjoying the place and have lunch. After the lunch we walk back to the car in 25 minutes and drive for more 45 minutes to the Serra das Paridas, where we see the old paintings for around 1 hour. This part of the tour is special for those who likes to “travel in time” imagining how was the man´s life in the past. What was all the paintings about? Were they done in the same period? Were they made by the same nomadic tribe? There´s also a smal handicraft store over there. In the end there´s a 1 hour car trip back to Lençóis.
Obs.: All routes can be adapted or changed without warning because of weather conditions, which can affect acess roads, or difficult of somebody from the group.
