Limestone Caves: Torrinha, Fumaca and Pratinha + Azul

Limestone Caves

The Limestone Caves tours starts with a 45 minutes car trip to Iraquara city, the place where all limesonte caves we´ll visit. We start in the big and impressive Torrinha Cave. It´s famous to be the cave with the rarest speleothems of Brazil and a unique one in the world: helictite with aragonite flower. It also has gypsum Crystal and other rare formations. It can take 3 hours to visit the hole cave with 2 small passages to walk through. After this visit we drive more 15 minutes to the Fumaca Cave. It´s smaller than Torrinha but as impressive as since we have the most beauteful rooftop of stalactites from Chapada Diamantina. It also has a small saloon full of Aragonite Flowers. It takes 45 minutes to visit this cave. Than we have a nice lunch and drive more 20 minutes to Pratinha Farm, where we´ll see the Azul Cave and have optional activities like zipline or snorkeling inside Pratinha Cave. We also swim in the Pratinha Lake, and after all we drive back to Lençóis.
