To begin this expediction is better to sleep on the Guiné village, which is 2 hours by car form Lençóis.
1st day– We leave the village early with a car dislocation. Then we start walking going up the Aleixos Hill till the Rio Preto (Black River). We cross this river and keep in the direction to the fountains of the Rio Cachoeirão(Big Waterfall River), where we see the waterfall form its top. After a short break to lunch and observation, we keep going on the trail that will drive us through the Prefeitura, which is inside the Paty Velley, observing one side of the spectacular Castle Mountain.
2nd day- After the breakfast we leave to the Calixto Forest, crossing the Paty River and the Lapinha River, where we see the Calixto Waterfall. We go up passing through the forest and leave the trail. With the view of the other side of the Castle Mountain, we start walking on the fountains of the Garapa River. We cross the high lands and meet one affluent streamlet where we camp.
3rd day- We go down on the river way the whole day, passing through the Palmito Waterfall and little pools with places to swim. We finish the day camping on a huge cave, the Lapão Cave under a big rock.
4th day– We begin passing from the Garapa to the Roncador River, where we´ll see the Samuel Waterfall form above. We stay there a while and go down to swim and have lunch. Than we go down the river ofr 3 hours to arrive on the mouth of the Roncador River in the Sao José River. At this pointy we can come back by car on a off-road or by boat (takes 2 hours) till the Remanso Village, where a car will get us back to Lençóis.
