Caves with Pai Inacio Tradicional: Rio Mucugezinho + Poço do Diabo, Gruta da Fumaça, Grutas Pratinha + Azul and Morro do Pai Inacio

We also offer the traditional tour like the other agencies. We don´t consider it the ideal way ,but we still offer sincne we know many people don´t have many days for tours and need to see all its possible in one day, so we still do the tour this way.

The ideal is sharing this tour in 2 different days, enjoying more each attraction, staying more time in each place than in the way proposed here.

Tour:

We leave Lençóis in the morning in a 25 minutes car trip untill the Cabana do Louro (Louro´s Hutt), where we can see local art and souveniers. We go down in a 5 minutes trail until Mucugezinho River. From there we walk more 15 minutes paralel to the river to reach Poço do Diabo Waterfall, where we can have a nice waterfall bath. Than we go back to the car and drive 45 minutes to Fumaça Cave, full of limestone formations that impress even experienced this type of cave. It’s really wonderful. After this tour we have lunch and go to Pratinha Farm, where we can swim in a beauteful lake with translucent water. It´s possible to hire optionals like snorkelling inside Pratinha Cave and zipline ending in the river. The Gruta Azul is in the same farm and we go there to visit before leave in a 45 minutes car trip to Pai Inacio Mountain, where we walk up a 20 minutes trail to the top. Up there we have a 360º panoramic view of one famous Chapada Diamantina´s post card. After that we go down and leave to Lençóis in a 40 minutes car trip.
