This area known as Marimbus takes part of Andaraí and Lençóis area. It is a flood plain rivers Santo Antônio and Utinga and others descending the mountains of the National Park of Chapada Diamantina.All the rivers in the northeast border of the National Park suffered a big change made by the diamond extraction in past time. This activity result in lots of send and all this sand went down through the rivers, wind and rain and stoped in the hill´s bottom. So this resulted in a swamp area where this tour happens. A 45 minutes car trip from Lençóis will take us to Remanso village, where we take boats and go down the river for around 2 hours (8 km) till the Roncador River, where we stop to lunch and swim in natural pools. Than we go back in the same way to Lençóis. In this tour is possible to see lots of birds and the specific Pantanal characteristics. Very easy level of walking and recommended for everyone.
There´s is an option to rent kayaks in Remanso Village!!!

Obs.: All routes can be adapted or changed without warning because of weather conditions, which can affect acess roads, or difficult of somebody from the group.
