Founded in 2004, Extreme EcoAdventure stood out with the inovations by new routes for trekking and expeditions to locations outside of the tourist routes, thereby escaping the big crowd of traditional trekking as Paty Valley and Fumaça Warterfall. We are based in Lençóis and we work with atractions all over the National Park and its souround area, with tours to the main attractions and another ones out of the regular routes.
The Mixila Waterfall was our biggest inovation to tourism, when our team, analyzing the map and the beginning of the canyon, saw the possibility of a waterfall in the very end of this canyon. We decided to walk up the canyon and see what was inside, getting to the beautiful waterfall on 20/08/2004.
We returned to Lençóis and searched with old miners, who informed us that the waterfall was named Mixila due to an old mine that existed at the top: Mixilão.
They also said that it is impossible to arrive at the bottom of the waterfall to swim in the pool, which was done just after crossing our two swimming pools.
During two years this was and exclusive waterfall, the time it took to other guides know the waterfall and begin to lead groups, making a 2-day trek through the known Capivari and Poção Waterfalls. But the trek we developed was designed to last 5 days and pass through 7 waterfalls, the Extreme Exclusive Trekking, who can be adapted for the groups, taking 3 or 4 days. The Lajes, Caldeirão and Samuel Waterfalls are known from a long time, but the way that link them was closed by vegetation and was re-opned by us. The Entocada Waterfall was recently discovered for the tourism and we added it to this trekking, making it an unique experience.
Today Mixila is the most popular destination for trekking in Lençóis, because it always keeps a minimum level of water, without getting dry completely. Other groups goes to this waterfall, but only in a 2-day trek.
Continuing our history of innovation, we decided to create a trekking that passes through many waterfalls with challenging level. We created the Expert Trekking, which passes through 12 waterfalls in 5 days or 13 waterfalls in 6 days, crossing the mountain range between Lençóis and Andaraí. As the name suggests, it´s made for those who wants to walk a lot in technique passing through the most beauteful views of watefalls and landscapes. This trekking is also an exclusivity of Extreme EcoAdventure and passes through remote places with diamond mines recently disabled.
We also noted that all the “Round around the Park” sold here are not really a complete round around the park, since they cross the mountains in the region of Mucugê not making the complete round around the park.
So we created the Big 6 Hiking- Round Around the Park, which makes the complete round around the park in six days, making daily attacks, the Hikkings, seeing one waterfall per day. It has the advantage of sleeping every night in hostels and do not require camping.
We consider the six most impressive waterfalls in the park and this will bury the Round Around the Park designed by others.
So every day there is displacement of 4 × 4 car and walking, resulting in a unique product that only the Extreme EcoAdventure staff can offer. We also operate traditional trekking routes.
The car trips, which we call 1-day-trips, takes the hole day, from 8:30 to 18:30. There are options for short and easy walks or long and technical walks, being a great option for those who like the comfort of the hostels after a long day of tours.
For those who want radical challenges, we have the Extreme Sports: Abseiling, climbing, biking and horseback riding are the main modalities. In some cases we link useful with pleasure, such as trekking to the Capivari Waterfal and do the absailing or ride bike and go kayaking.
For travelers who have the adventure soul, we offer our Expeditions: Exploration Trekkings through places where other there are no other groups, making contact with the nature more intense. The difficult level is high, being an exciting challenge.

The Extreme EcoAdventure offers adventure tourism products in a natural environment priorizing the safety, covering all types of hazards involving risk to life and physical integrity of persons involved in operations. Seeking requirements and adapting to the rule ABNT NBR 15331, by implementing a Safety Management System.
In respect for nature, we have adopted practices minimum impact to the environment, through the conduction of our groups with consciousness, made by experienced and competent guides, seeking requirements in Rule ABNT NBR 15285, informing and monitoring the activities.
We commit ourselves to the adoption of good practices established by the segment of adventure tourism, as well as compliance with relevant laws and minimizing the negative social impacts which could be the result of our activities.
